We send you the invoice as an e-mail attachment. It is (obviously!) password-protected.
The invoice is in form of an MS EXCEL workbook, version 5.0/95. This is the earliest version that
supports multiple worksheets inside one workbook. Accordingly, your people need any version of MS EXCEL released since 1995. In short, your
rebate analysts need to neither buy, nor install, nor learn any new software!
This workbook has several worksheets which show several pieces of information relating to the contract, all the information
relating to the rebate, one-time notes regarding this rebate, a summarization by NDC, and any other applicable summarizations.
Additionally, this workbook has an Approval pushbutton.
If you click this Approval pushbutton,
the workbook will create the RxMini file in your PC.
If you have the RxAdapter program written,
you can invoke this RxAdapter program to import the invoice
straight into your Financials to cut the check.
This automation saves you plenty of time and effort.
Our customers tell us that the greatest advantage of having the analysis in MS EXCEL workbook format is that they can do their own side
calculations right on that workbook, and save it along with their own notes.
